A Doctor Who Truly Cares
Dr. George Smithson has been serving the animals and families of Tazewell County for over 15 years. A Virginia native, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and returned home to open his own practice.
Dr. Smithson has a particular passion for small animal internal medicine and exotic pet care. His approach is simple: treat every patient the way he would want his own pets treated — with patience, skill, and genuine compassion.
